Welcome to NavCom

So you've installed NavCom, good for you, and thanks.

You're probably wondering "How do I best use this wonderful piece of software?" Well you've come to the right place.

The first thing you're going to notice is that you will be required to turn your GPS on. NavCom won't run unless your GPS is turned on. You don't need to have a current GPS fix but the GPS will need to be turned on. If you launch NavCom before turning on your GPS you will be taken to the location manager where you can activate the GPS system, just check GPS to turn it on and press the back button to go to the main NavCom screen.

This is where you will type the name you want to save your current location under. You cannot leave it blank and you cannot save until you have a current GPS fix.

This is Google's best guess at the address for your location based on your GPS co-ordinates. This guess is made live so you will need an Internet connection and you may see it change. For residential addresses you will see a range presented, 1-20 Mystreet Rd, Mytown, On. For larger commercial or industrial locations you will get an exact address, 15 Business St, Biztown, On.

GPS
This is your current location as reported by your GPS system. It will say 0,0 until the GPS gets a location.

Remember This Location
Press this button to save the current location information. You cannot save it the Name field is blank or the GPS location is 0,0. You can save up to 20 locations.
